Hello everyone,
The dates for the exercises/talks have been set. We will meet on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in SR 5, starting on 3 December every two weeks until the end of the lecture period.
If other students are interested in the lecture and giving a talk for admission to the oral exam, the start date may be postponed. Currently, five sessions are planned.
If anyone was unable to attend today's first session and want to give a talk (which is the admission requirement), please let me know.

Over the course of the coming week, we will upload the possible topics under Materials. Before the lecture (i.e. at 12 noon) on 29 October, we will distribute the topics among the students.

We look forward to the semester with you!

Best regards,
Jonas

Hello everyone,
There will be no lecture next week (15 October). Instead, we will use the first session to set a date for the exercise sessions and discuss an attendance sheet ("Präsenzblatt"). If necessary, we will also review universal C*-algebras. We will also briefly discuss the procedure for the exercise sessions.
The first regular lecture will therefore take place on 22 October.

See you,
Jonas
