Dear students,

please create or update your groups here in the CMS, so they include all the group members. This is important for the submissions, so we can assign the points from the milestones.

Moreover, the first exercise sheet will be published at 4pm today and can then be found in the materials section. You can also find a template for submitting your solution. You have two weeks to submit the solution as a group (the same group you're doing the project with).

Dear students,

please update your preferences for the tutorials until Saturday night, we added two new tutorials. For the distribution of the tutorials, it would help us a lot, thanks! 

IMPORTANT: The attendance in the first tutorial next week is mandatory! If you are not attending unexcused, you will be excluded from the lecture. This is necessary for forming the project groups. If you are transferring your projects and exercises from last year's iteration, you don't have to attend the tutorials. In cases of emergency or sickness, inform the assistants and the tutor asap that you can't attend the first tutorial.

 

 

Dear Students,

Please note the following procedure for transferring projects and exercises from the previous year:

Note on transfer of credit from previous semester:

• “I have successfully completed the exercises and projects of IAS in summer term 25, but have not passed the final exam. Can I just write the exam?”
  Yes, you can transfer your exercises and projects from IAS in summer term 25 to IAS in summer term 26, so you do not have to hand in exercises and project assignments a second time. Please contact Gian-Luca Kiefer with your name and matriculation number before April 18 2025 (23:59).
• You cannot transfer partial grades from previous IAS lectures.
