Storage Systems: project deadline (Sun, Aug 2) & presentation (Wed, Aug 5)

Hi everyone, this message is for the two teams presenting.

Project submission — Sunday, August 2, 2026, 6:00 p.m. Send me the final version of your project by then. The project must build. The submission must be self-contained: all sources, build files, and setup scripts included, and it must build and run on a clean Linux machine (no absolute home-directory paths, no laptop-only files); any external dependency must be listed in the README with the install command. The code must be commented. Please include a comprehensive README that includes what you implemented (clearly stating anything partial or missing), how to build the project, and how to run it, along with your design decisions and known limitations. Best practice: follow your own README step by step on a clean machine before submitting.

Presentation — Wednesday, August 5, 2026. 20 minutes, with an equal speaking share for each team member. The content is up to you: show us what you did, why you did it that way, what it can do, and anything you found interesting or difficult along the way.
