Programming 2 Pre-Course

Dear students,

 

this is a reminder that tomorrow is on git and unix and it is the most important day of the pre-course. It is also independent on the content of the last three days, so if you missed some of the content of these days, you can and should still attend tomorrow.

To be able to successful participate tomorrow, we would like to ask you to prepare some stuff:

1. Activate you gitlab account: click on the Prog2 button on this page while you are registered in the cms.
2. Download the VM and the Oracle Virtual Box Manager that can be found here.

today, we noticed that many of you were late for the tutorial and the lecture. Please remember that everything in our schedule starts sharp. So, we want you to be punctual because otherwise, you will distract the other students and show disrespect to the person whose presentation you just interrupted.

Dear all,

As you might have noticed, the lecture hall for todays lecture was incorrectly entered in the timetable. It has been updated now and

todays lecture will take place in building E2 5, lecture hall 1 (as it also says in todays news).

We hope you all have a great first day at the pre-course, and if you have any questions, use the forum.

 

Dear students,

 

we are very happy to welcome you to the Prog2 pre-course. Our first lecture will take place at 1 pm in E25, HS1.  Afterwards, you will work in small groups on the assignment sheet that you can find in the materials section. For this purpose, you will be divided into rooms, which you can find on your personal status page as "coaching room". After that, at 3 pm, there will be tutorials, which will probably be in another room, which you will see as your "tutorial room" on your personal status page. The overall schedule can be found in the timetable section of the cms.

During the pre-course, we offer English or German coachings and tutorials. On your personal status page, you can now choose which language you prefer. Please do so. Otherwise, we will assign you randomly.
