Das erste Übungsblatt ist nun im CMS abrufbar. Abgabetermin: Freitag 28. April um 16:00 Uhr. (Wegen des späten Vorlesungsbeginns fangen die Übungen ebenfalls eine Woche später an.)

Contents

This lecture course is an introduction to complex analysis. Topics include

  • Complex numbers (algebra and topology)
  • Complex differentiability, holomorphic functions, power series
  • Curve integrals, Cauchy's integral theorem, Cauchy's integral formulae
  • Singularities and Laurent series
  • Cauchy's residue theorem and applicationsResiduensatz und Anwendungen
  • Conformal mapping

Tutorials

Problem sheets will be posted on the CMS on a weekly basis. Solutions are to be submitted electronically (via the CMS) by Friday at 16:00. Submitted work will be corrected and returned in the tutorials. Joint solutions from teams of up to three students will be accepted.

Examinations

Examinations will take place at the end of this semester and the beginning of next semester (Winter Semester 2023/24). To qualify for the examination students must

  • have attained an overall score of at least 50% on the problem sheets, and
  • have missed no more than two tutorials.
