Lectures
The lectures are held in person in E1.3 lecture hall HS002 on Monday from 10:15 to 12:00 and Thursday from 12:15 to 2:00 p.m..
Tutorials
We offer weekly tutorials which are held in person. Throughout the semester, every student must successfully present the solution to one exercise from a previous assignment. During the presentation, you should demonstrate both your understanding of the solution and the reasoning behind it. If you fail the presentation you have a second trial to pass it; otherwise, you cannot be admitted to the exam. The presenter will be chosen at random; thus we highly recommend to be present in all tutorials.

Forum
You will find the forum in the header row of the CMS page. This is the primary place to ask questions outside lectures and tutorials. You may also provide feedback or look for a tutorial exchange partner here. For anonymous feedback, please use the feedback feature of the CMS.
Assignments
We will have a total of 9 weekly assignments (except for the minitest weeks) that are released after the lecture on Monday and due on Sunday evening. Assignments can be found in the Material section. You work in a team of 3 students; the score of the team submission will be shared by all members. Importantly, the team members must be assigned to the same tutorial, as you are supposed to work together during the tutorial time.
Minitests
There will be four minitests throughout the semester. Each minitest covers the material presented since the previous minitest and takes place at the beginning of the first lecture of the next block. The minitests take place at the beginning of the first lecture of the next block. The exact dates can be found in the calendar.
Exam Admission
To be admitted to the exam, you must:
- obtain at least 50% of all assignment points;
- obtain at least 50% of all minitest points;
