Final Exam

Written on 02.07.2026 11:28 by Simon Schwarz

Dear students,

the final exam takes place on Wednesday, 15 July, at 12:30 sharp in the Günter-Hotz lecture hall (E2.2).

Please bring your student ID, an official ID card/passport, and your laptop (+ charger). Make sure you have the exam VM installed and tested (booting, eduroam, and solution submission). You can re-use the VM from the midterm. Please delete the files you created during the midterm before the main exam. If you experienced any technical issues during the midterm, please visit next week’s tutorial, raise this after the next lecture, or write us an E-mail.

Please submit your cheat sheet (.txt, max. 200 000 characters) via CMS by 14 July, 12:00. The registration deadline (LSF or CMS, depending on your course) is 8 July.

The exam covers Lectures 1–11. No explicit questions about later lectures will be asked, although general techniques from them may still be useful. A mock exam (2024-final) is now available, and solution spoilers will be released next week.

If you are unable to bring a laptop or experience any problems, please contact us as soon as possible.

Last: We fixed the re-exam to take place on 21 September at 13:00.
