System Architecture

The exam will take place tomorrow, Friday, July 24, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in the Lecture Halls I and II in E2 5 (math building). You can find your assigned lecture hall and seat on your personal status page. Please be in front of your assigned lecture hall no later than 9:45 am.  
  
Don't forget to bring your student ID card AND a government-issued ID card (e.g. a Personalausweis, Aufenthaltstitel or Passport). You may also bring one handwritten, double-sided A4 cheat sheet. Note that digitally written, printed cheat sheets are NOT allowed.

Please remember to register/unregister for the exam on the LSF until tonight, 11:59pm. In case you have trouble registering for the exam, please contact the examination office AND us before the deadline ends to make sure you will be registered manually for the exam.

We have also uploaded a mock exam to the CMS which can help you prepare for the exam. Alongside you can find a summary of the RISC-V ISA which we will provide during the exam.

We have finished grading project 3 and project quiz 3. You can find your results on your personal status page. You can inspect the project quiz in tomorrow's office hour (3-5pm).

You can also now see your final admission status on the CMS. Note that we lowered the required points in the quizzes to 43 and in the projects to 42.5. If you are admitted and want to participate in the main exam, please register on the LSF/HISPOS until Friday, July 17th. Otherwise please remember to unregister if you are already registered. No registration on the CMS is needed.

If you are enrolled in Lehramt, the admission status on the CMS might not be correct. You need 50% of the first to projects and 50% of the first 4 quizzes for admission. Please contact us in doubt.

There will be a 7th quiz on July 6th, 2026. This quiz will explicitly cover the entire semester and not just content from the previous weeks.

For exam admission you need 50% out of your 6 best quizzes. Thus, the threshold for exam admission remains at 45 points. Especially people who have missed a previous quiz can benefit from this quiz since participation in quiz 7 will discard the quiz you did not participate in.

If you have zero points on the project, you might not have submitted the CONTRIBUTIONS.md file correctly. In this case, please check your emails and reply to get your points entered on the CMS.

The proof of the Depth of PP(n) on the slide today was incorrect, the slides PDF (05. Adders) were just updated with the correct proof.

Note that the PDF 05.Adders was covered partly on 26.04 and finished on 06.05, which then also covered 07. Arithmetic.

The recording are online, but include the incorrect slide as shown (the error was noticed after the lecture)

We have assigned the tutorials. You can find your tutor and the room on your personal status page.

The tutorials start on Monday, April 13th either at 8:30am, 10:15am or 12:15pm. Please remember that the first quiz will take place at the beginning of the first tutorial, so be there on time.

We have also transferred the points for the quizzes and project from those who already got the exam admission in the last iteration. You can see your updated admission status on your personal status page.
