Some of you already found team partners during the first week's tutorial. To get everyone started on the first obligatory class sheet next week, we will group everyone who remains before then.

To know who actually wants to be grouped (i.e., everyone who wants to take the course for credit), we ask you to create an assignment team for yourself. We will merge existing assignment teams within tutorials so that each team has 3 members.

Important: You must create an assignment team for yourself by Monday evening, the 26th.

On a separate note, remember to check your tutorial assignments and let me know if you should be reassigned to a no-tutorial group.

If you had a tutorial today and missed it, you can catch up next week with your tutor or reach out to them by email if you have questions about deadlines, datacamp, class sheets, etc. Note that class sheet 0 does not count towards the graded class sheets, and homework sheets only start next week.

Follow the instructions in my previous message if you need to request a tutorial change or be assigned to the no-tutorial option. I will do my best to accommodate requests until tomorrow.

To ensure we have a way to contact everyone if CMS goes down again, please add your name and email address here: StatsR: contact information – Fill out form

We have assigned the tutorials. If you were assigned to a tutorial slot but have admission from previous years, please use the template below to let me know so I can manually assign you to the "no tutorial" group for students with prior admission. If you were assigned to a tutorial group but do not plan to attend for other reasons, please let me know as well.

To resolve this as efficiently as possible, email laura.pissani@uni-saarland.de using only the following template:

Student name and last name:
Current tutorial assigned:
Tutorial you wish to be assigned to:
Select one reason:

a) I want to be on the same team as X.

b) I have another lecture/seminar during that time slot.

c) I have prior admission and do not need to attend a tutorial.

d) Other (please describe briefly).

Tomorrow at 10:00 AM, we will assign students who registered to the tutorials.

You might have noticed that there is a “no tutorial” option. This option is strictly intended for students who either have exam admission from previous years or do not plan to take the course for credit. If you want to confirm whether you have exam admission from previous years, please get in touch.

Everyone who still needs exam admission and wants to take the course for credit must attend a tutorial to fulfill the requirements, as class sheets are only counted if they are completed in person. If you selected the “no tutorial” option and do not have admission from previous years, this means that you cannot take the course for credit. Please modify your choice today if needed.
