We will, however, offer two office hours before the main exam, in particular: Thursday, Feb 12, 10-11 in SR 106 Friday, Feb 20, 10-11 in SR 106 We also recommend reviewing the lecture slides as part of your exam preparation and consulting the textbook or readings as needed. Additionally, please revisit class and homework sheets, paying close attention to the feedback from your tutor, particularly on conceptual questions. If you find that you still have questions about content or assignemnts, please either post on the forum or come to one of the office hours. For the exam, you are allowed to bring a hand-written (not printed!) 2-sided a4 cheat sheet. You should also bring a non-programmable calculator, exam questions will involve calculations. More information with regard to seating time, rooms etc will follow once registration is complete. Your final exam admission status will show on cms beginning of next week. You are also expected to be up to speed with all topics covered in obligatory datacamp courses by now. This includes handling data with dplyr and creating different types of graphs using ggplot2. Please note that if you come unprepared to the tutorial, you will likely not be able to finish in time. |

If you are not yet part of a team, but do want to take the course for credit, please get in touch immediately. Students have to submit in teams, you are not allowed to work on your own, unless you are retaking the course. And some information for students from previous years, that already obtained admission to the exam: Your cms profile for this year will not show your admission status until shortly before the exam registration deadline. You can check on your profile in last year's course. If you have not yet notified me that you are retaking the course, please do so. If you would like to submit assignments and get feedback, you may do so, but you are only allowed to work together with other retakers or you can work on your own. Reminder: you do not have to do the exercises again!

To get started on the first obligatory class sheet right away next week, we will group everybody who remains before that. For us to know, who actually wants to be grouped (=wants to take the course for credit), we would ask you to please create an assignment team for yourself. We will merge then existing assignment teams within tutorials such that they all have 3 members. Important: you have to create an assignment team for yourself until Monday night! On a separate note: we are still thankfull for information from those students that do not want to take the course for credit, as we can than reassign their tutorial spots to other students. |

This is strictly only meant for students that either have exam admission from previous years (please notify me, if you have not done so) or do not plan to take the course for credit. Everybody, who needs exam admission still and wants to take the course for credit has to attend a tutorial to be able to fulfill the requirements, as class sheets are only counted of they are solved in person. If you marked the "no tutorial" option as ok, this means that you can't take the course for credit. Please modify your choice today if needed. |
