As announced at the beginning of the course, you… Read more You can now find all assignment results and your exam admission status on CMS. Don't forget to register for the exam in LSF. Speaking of the exam: The tentative date for the exam inspection is Thursday, 13.08., 16:00 - 17:00 in our seminar room. As announced at the beginning of the course, you can get a bonus towards your final grade by fixing all remaining issues in your code. To qualify, you need to upload a fixed, fully bug-free version as a solution to the "Bonus" assignment on CMS. The deadline for this submission is just before the final exam. You only need to provide the corrected solution of the rendering assignments (path tracing & photon mapping) -- as a single project -- not the notebooks from the first assignments. After submission, you need to contact your tutor to schedule an interview, during which you (i.e. both members of a team) are expected to explain the fixes. These interviews must happen until 14.08. so we can proceed with the final grade calculations in a timely manner. You do not have to wait until the official bonus submission deadline to schedule the interview. Those of you who already have full points in all assignments do not need to submit or schedule an additional interview; you will be awarded the bonus automatically.

The first assignment has been released assignment. The submission deadline is April 22 at 23:59. Please submit your work via CMS following the submission guidelines stated in the assignment sheet. Assignments can be done in teams of two. Please create your team in CMS. The deadline for forming teams is April 29. If you haven’t found a teammate yet, it is possible to submit the first assignment individually and team up from the second assignment onward. The first tutorials will take place on Monday, April 20, and Tuesday, April 21. These sessions will serve as office hours for answering assignment questions and conducting coding interviews.
