Written on 03.02.2025 16:55 by Lena Becker

Dear students,

This news contains important information regarding the registration for the final exam. Please make sure to read the part below carefully.

The final exam will take place on February 14, 2025. You must register for this exam if you want to participate. The registration modalities differ from those of the midterm exams. In addition, they also differ across study programs:

  • If your study program uses HISPOS/LSF, the registration takes place there. Registration and deregistration are possible until February 7, 23:59. Please note that you will need iTANs to register there. We import registrations from HISPOS/LSF to the CMS on a regular basis. You can check your current registration status on your personal status page. If your registration is not transferred within the next day, contact us immediately but no later than February 7, 23:59. However, please note that it may take some time until your registration is displayed on your personal status page.
  • If you study Wirtschaftsinformatik (business informatics), you should already be registered. We have imported the registrations from ViPa/FlexNow2. Your registration status is displayed on your personal status page. Please verify its correctness. If your registration has not been transferred, contact us immediately but no later than February 7, 23:59.
  • If your study program uses neither HISPOS/LSF nor ViPa/FlexNow2, we do not have any information about your registration deadlines. You must take care of this yourself. Additionally, you have to register separately in the CMS on your personal status page. Registration and deregistration are possible until February 7, 23:59.

If you have any questions or issues with the exam registration, please contact us before the registration deadline.

Furthermore, we have now processed all issues that remained open after the inspection of the midterm retake exam. The results of this are reflected on your personal status page.

During the inspection, a general issue with the grading of Exercise 2.2 (asc) surfaced. In particular, solutions using iter should have used b-a as the number of iterations, but the original grading scheme (wrongly) treated b-a+1 as the correct solution.
We have now resolved this issue. If your exam was affected by this, you will find your updated point score on your personal status page. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Kind regards,
Your Programming 1 team
