Mathematik für Informatiker*innen II / Mathematics for Computer Scientists II

Erinnerung: Zusätzlich zu den Sprechstunden der Tutorinnen und Tutoren bietet Tobias Mai eine wöchentliche Fragestunde im Stile eines Repetitoriums an. Es werden aktuelle Themen der Vorlesung wiederholt und anhand zusätzlicher Übungsaufgaben ausführlich diskutiert.

Nähere Informationen sowie den Link zur Online-Teilnahme finden Sie unter "Informationen → Übungen / Tutorials" im Abschnitt "Fragestunde / Repetitorium". Gerne können Sie über ein dort verlinktes Google-Formular (anonym) Fragen zum Stoff der Vorlesungen oder der Übungen stellen bzw. Wünsche äußern, welche Themen nochmals angesprochen werden sollten. Diese werden (für alle sichtbar) gesammelt und gegebenenfalls in einer der folgenden Fragestunden aufgegriffen.

Die nächste Fragestunde findet morgen (Freitag, den 15. Mai) um 14 Uhr c.t. im Hörsaal 001 in Gebäude E1 3 (und online über MS Teams) statt.

Reminder: In addition to the office hours of the tutors, Tobias Mai offers a weekly question time in the style of a revision course. Current topics of the lecture will be repeated and discussed on the basis of additional exercise problems.

More information on this as well as the link for online participation can be found on the page "Information → Übungen / Tutorials" in the section "Question time / Revision course". You are invited to use a Google form, the link to which is provided there, to ask (anonymously) questions about the material of the lectures and tutorials or mention topics which you want us to repeat. These suggestions will be collected (visible for everyone) and possibly taken up in one of the next question times.

The next question time will take place tomorrow (Friday, May 15) at 2:15 pm in the lecture theatre HS 001 in building E1 3 (and online via MS Teams).

Am kommenden Freitag, dem 15. Mai 2026, entfallen die deutsche und die englische Vorlesung.

Der Abgabetermin für Blatt 5 wurde um einen Tag auf Samstag, den 16. Mai, um 10:00 Uhr verschoben.

On the upcoming Friday, May 15, 2026, the German and English lectures are cancelled.

The submission deadline for Sheet 5 has been postponed by one day to Saturday, May 16, at 10:00 am.

• Der Haupttermin der Zwischenklausur findet am Samstag, dem 23. Mai 2026, 10:30 bis 12:30 Uhr statt.
• Um an dieser Klausur teilzunehmen, müssen Sie sich für diese im CMS anmelden. Dies ist nur bis Samstag, den 16. Mai 2026, um 23:59 Uhr möglich. Ohne Anmeldung dürfen Sie nicht mitschreiben!
• Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Anmeldung zu den Zwischenklausuren (im Gegensatz zu den Anmeldungen zu den Abschlussklausuren) ausschließlich über das CMS erfolgt. Eine Anmeldung über ein Prüfungssekretariat (beispielsweise im LSF oder FlexNow) ist für die Zwischenklausuren weder nötig, noch möglich.
• Sie können frei wählen, ob Sie den Haupttermin der Zwischenklausur auf Deutsch oder Englisch schreiben möchten. Ihre Präferenz können Sie uns bis Samstag, den 16. Mai 2026, um 23:59 Uhr über das entsprechende Formular auf Ihrer persönlichen Statusseite im CMS mitteilen. Achtung: Mit der Sprachauswahl sind Sie NICHT automatisch zur Klausur angemeldet! Die Anmeldung zur Klausur erfolgt separat über Ihre persönliche Statusseite im CMS.
• Falls Ihnen ein (offizieller) Nachteilsausgleich für Prüfungen genehmigt wurde, teilen Sie uns dies - sofern noch nicht geschehen - bitte rechtzeitig vor dem Klausurtermin mit (per E-Mail an Tobias Mai).
• Für beide Zwischenklausuren ist der Stoff der Vorlesung bis einschließlich Kapitel 2.3 ("Unterräume") sowie der Übungsblätter 1-5 (Haus- und Präsenzübungsblätter) relevant.

• The mid-term main exam will take place on Saturday, May 23, 2026, 10:30 am - 12:30 pm.
• To take part in this exam, you need to register in the CMS. This is only possible until Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 11:59 pm at the latest. Without registration, you are not allowed to take part in the exam!
• Please note that registration for the mid-term exams (unlike registration for the end-term exams) is exclusively via the CMS. Registration via an examination office (for example via LSF or FlexNow) is neither necessary nor possible for the mid-term exams.
• You are free to choose whether you want to write the mid-term main exam in German or in English. You can inform us about your preference until Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 11:59 pm via the corresponding form provided on you personal status page in CMS. Attention: Selecting a language does NOT automatically register you for the exam! Exam registration takes place separately via your personal status page in the CMS.
• If you have been granted official disadvantage compensation for examinations, please inform us of this - if you have not already done so - in good time before the exam date (by sending an email to Tobias Mai).
• Relevant for both mid-term exams is the content of the lecture up to and including Section 2.3 ('Subspaces') as well as the Problem Sheets 1-5 (homework and classroom sheets).
