Current EEG Study
Written on 02.07.2025 12:33 by Annabelle Bergum
Dear students,
in the past weeks you have learned a lot about empirical software engineering research and might want to participate in a study yourself (and earn a bit of money). You now have the opportunity to do so. I am currently looking for participants for a study I am conducting for my master's thesis. The study will use EEG to examine the mental workload of programmers during code comprehension and takes roughly one hour. Participation will be compensated with 15 Euros. If you want to participate in this study you can book a date on the following site: https://calendly.com/s8yalehm-uni-saarland/workloadsimulationexperiment
Please note that for an EEG study there are some prerequisites for participants to ensure that the data of all participants can be properly compared and aggregated:
* Participants must be right-handed
* Participants must not have any neurological illnesses or psychological disorders.
* Participants that experienced a drug high in the 24 hours before the experiment can not participate.
If you have any questions about the experiment you would like to ask before signing up please write me a mail (s8yalehm@stud.uni-saarland.de)
Kind Regards,
Yannick Lehmen
