Dear students,

You will now find a list of topics that are relevant for the exam in the materials section.

More importantly, due to the Covid-19 situation, the exam will take place under special precautions.

In short, if you are participating in the exam you need to know the following:

  1. FACE MASK: It is mandatory to bring your own face mask, which is to be worn at all times.

  2. SAFTEY DISTANCE: At all times, keep a minimum distance of 1.5 meters to other students and supervisors.

  3. ID CHECK: Place your student ID card on the table next to you, so we can read it without touching it and maintain the minimum distance from you.

  4. STAY HOME IF SICK: For more details, see checklist below.

  5. REGISTER IN TIME: Please make sure you are registered for the exam in the CMS as soon as possible. Moreover, do not forget to register also in the LSF (deadline approaching).

  6. GO TO YOUR LECTURE HALL: We will send seating assignments to all registered students. Please go directly and only to your assigned seat.

Apart from the safety instructions, you need to know the following for the exam:

You are allowed to bring a dictionary, two double-sided, handwritten sheets of A4 paper with notes, a calculator and a non-erasable pen.

Best of luck for the exam. Stay safe!

If you are registered and admitted to the Elements of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Exam:

Please note that it is absolutely necessary for you to bring your own protection mask with you.

Students who have a doctor’s certificate that they cannot wear protection masks have to bring their own face shields and wear these instead of a mask.

If your answer is "yes" to one or more of the following questions, then you are not allowed to attend the exam.

If you provide a doctor’s certificate to the examination office later on, the examination attempt will be canceled and will not count.
