Improved Slides for Lecture 2 and New Supplementary Material (IPCV 2025, DIC 2024)

Dear Students of the DIC 2025 Class,
In the Materials Section of the CMS website, I have uploaded new slides for Lecture 2, addessing two of your questions: The new Slide 19 motivates why one can use zero-crossings of the Laplacian for edge detection, and Slide 21 presents a better (rescaled) illustration of causality in Gaussian scale-space. This shows that your questions are essential for improving the lecture for you and for future student generations.
