Dear students,

the paper assignment is finished and can be found at Information → Paper Assignment. We can happily say that everyone was assigned their first or second preference; no third preference had to be assigned.

Please contact your advisor soon (a name abbreviation can be found after the paper title) to schedule a first meeting in November. This meeting is meant to help with issues about the content of the paper, so please come prepared, i.e., read the paper carefully before the meeting and prepare questions that you want to ask.

Additionally, you must write two summaries each (a list of papers you must summarize can also be found after the paper title). Each summary must be 2-3 pages, DIN A4, 11pt; not less, not more. These summaries must be submitted in the CMS until Sunday, December 7th, 11:59pm. Summaries are graded and used as tie-breaker for your final seminar grade. Writing the summaries is mandatory to pass the seminar. The summaries are made accessible to all other students of the seminar and aid your peers in preparing their presentation.

We will then meet within the peer groups on Wednesday, December 10th, 2:15pm, in E1 1, 3.06. This meeting is meant to interact with your peers to resolve remaining open questions.

The short lecture by Prof. Dittrich on how to present will take place on Wednesday, December 17th, 2:15pm, in E1 1, 3.06.

Written on 31.10.25 by Luca Gretscher

Dear students,

As we did not receive all paper preferences yet, we will extend the deadline. Please send us your votes for the paper you want to present, for exactly three papers, highest priority first, until this Sunday, November 2nd, 11:59pm latest.

Best regards
