welcome to CG 🥳!
In order to have a smooth start in the CG course, we would like to give you some information regarding team creation and the GitLab access needed to work on the assignments.
GitLab access:
If you have not already done so, log into your uni GitLab account once (https://gitlab.cs.uni-saarland.de/). We cannot give you access to the lightwave framework if you did not log into the account once.
After your first login, it might take a day until you get access to the upstream https://gitlab.cs.uni-saarland.de/cg1/ws26/upstream and can start working on the submission. So do it now rather than later. This also has to happen before the team registration deadline on Sunday as you cannot get a team repo otherwise.
Team Creation:
The deadline to register a team and give preferences for the colloquium slot is Sunday 25.10 at 23:59.
After this deadline we will create your group repositories for code submission and assign you and your teammate to a colloquium slot according to your preferences.
Creating a team is necessary even if you plan to submit the assignments by yourself. If you do not register a team, we will not create a GitLab repo for you and you will not be able to submit solutions.
In order to find a teammate, feel free to come to this week's Office Hours or use the forum.
