Dear all,

we will have oral exams for this lecture.

Registration is only via LSF ! Only those who are registered on LSF by 10.7. will be assigned a time-slot for the main-exam on 16.7.

The registration date for the re-exam (01.10) will be one week before that (24.9.). 

You may also just take the re-exam.

Of course, in order to take either of the exams, you have to qualify (find the condition in slides of the first lecture; in particular, you have to present a solution at least once !)

there will be no tutorials this Thursday, since that day is a public holiday.

I will offer a replacement tutorial to discuss the exercises on Wednesday, 3.06.2026, at 10:15 am. 

The tutorial will take place in Building E1.7, Room 4.10 (4th floor).

You can attend, regardless for which tutorial you are registered.

Please keep in mind that in order to be admitted to the exam, you have to present your solutions on the blackboard at least once.

Dear all,

we have assigned you to your tutorials yesterday. 

Also, we have now enabled the option to submit your exercises as a team and you should now be able to form those submissions teams. You are encouraged to do this and submit your exercises in teams of up to 3. 

A quick reminder, the time and location for the tutorial sessions are:

Thursday 10:00-12:00 in E1.3, Room SR 015 (Held by Paul)

Thursday 12:00-14:00 in E1.3, Room SR 013 (Held by Sheheryar).

Dear students,

some of you have not yet submitted your preferences for the tutorial sessions. To handle this, we have extended the deadline to Sunday, 19.04.2026, 23:59. Please make sure to register as soon as possible.

Since no assignments to tutorial groups have been made yet, you are welcome to attend any of tomorrow’s sessions. We will cover some mathematical preliminaries relevant to the course.
