IMPORTANT: Exam date, cheat sheet, practice exam + Assignment 10 // NO class next Wednesday 14.01.

We have created a poll for the best exam date (in Materials). Please fill it in as soon as possible.
We have also published the official cheat sheet that you may use during the exam (also in Materials), together with a practice exam.
We have also published assignment 10. There will be assignments 11 and 12 as well, but not more. Remember that you have to present 2 times in the tutorial to qualify for the exam.
Next week, I will be away on a conference. There will be no lecture on Wednesday 14.01. I hope to be back on time for the Friday lecture on 16.01. (depends a bit on Deutsche Bahn). Information will be posted on Friday morning as soon as possible. You can make good use of the lecture time on Wednesday to work on the practice exam in the lecture hall. The exam is designed for 3 hours.
Today's class (09.01.) will continue with evaluating the quality of estimators (summarizing the risk function into a single value). Remaining lectures will continue to discuss estimation and testing.
