we finished correcting the exam. The results are now visible on your personal status page. The exam inspection will take place tomorrow from 3pm-4pm. If you wish to inspect your exam please let us know in advance via email.

Moreover, due to the low number of participants, we could not do a QUALIS evaluation this year. If you want to give us feedback, please use the anonymous feedback function in the cms.

Dear all,

yesterday, during the lecture, the question came up, when to expect the results of the challenge. We are aware of the fact that you have to register for the exam the latest next Tuesday. For this reason, we will correct the results of the regression model on Monday. However, you can only pass the challenge if you also pass the presentation on Tuesday. Thus, you will receive the passing information on Tuesday. Notably, your presentation will follow a Q&A session, where you should be able to demonstrate that you can identify potential problems with your solution and can list areas for improvement.

Dear all,

for the ones, who have missed a minitest due to illness and provided a medical certificate for it, we will offer an additional minitest next Monday (July 6th). The 5th minitest will also take place on the same day as planned. Please note that this additional minitest will cover every topic since the beginning of the lectures (without any bonus questions).

So, in case you already downloaded the old files please make sure to download the latest version of all files and use this instead. Dear all,

Just a quick reminder regarding code submissions:
A submission will only be graded if all public tests are passed, not just the public tests associated with specific parts of the exercise (cf. this Forum post).

We know this might be a bit different from what you’re used to in other courses (such as Programming 2), so we were more lenient when grading your first assignment. From now on, however, we’ll be enforcing this rule more consistently.

If you have any problems with the assignments, feel free to use the forum or the office hours to ask for help.

Hello Everyone!

We just now uploaded all the files and materials you need to work on the first exercise sheet! For all of you that dont have access to the Gitlab yet: send an email with your Gitlab username to Max.

Also the first Tutorial will be next Monday (13.04 at 08:30) in room 007 in the Bioinformatics Building. There we dont have a lot to discuss but feel free to join if you have any trouble with Python, Git or Gitlab. Also we are happy to answer any questions :)
