Dear students,

the repositories for the programming projects have been created and you should have received an e-mail by GitLab telling you that you have been added as a maintainer of the project. Those students with a missing or incorrect username have received another warning to update their username until November 2nd, where we will run this procedure one final time.

A setup manual has been uploaded to the Materials section that deals with the basic development environment setup for the programming projects. Please take a look at the manual, follow the instructions and make sure everything works correctly. In case of problems, please make a post in the forum, or better, visit the office hour to ask for technical help. The first office hour is today at 14:15.

The first project will start on November 4th and has quite a generous deadline. Also at November 4th, there will be a project presentation after the lecture (16:00, same lecture hall), where we will briefly give an overview over the programming projects and give you advice on how to work on them.

Regards,
Thorsten Klößner

  • If you want to hand in your solution, you can do so via the CMS.

Dear students,

in order to give you access to your programming repository for the upcoming projects, we need your SIC GitLab username. Many people have not yet specified their username in the CMS. If you have not done so yet, please go to the CMS status page and specify your GitLab username as soon as possible. Note that we only need the handle of your username, not an https link and please omit the leading @ from the handle. Access to the repositories will be given out in the near future and you will then receive further instructions regarding project setup.
