Dear students,

On 11.02 you will deliver your final presentations concerning your projects.
At the beginning of the following week, i.e. starting 14.02., we will send out the marks for Part 3 and thus the overall marks.

Until 18.02., decide which members of your group want to claim a bonus. E-mail your statement as a PDF. The statement should summarise which group member wants to earn which additional grade bonus (0.3/0.7/1.0) for which tasks. This can be per group, per small group or per group member individually. It must be clear who wants to do which tasks to achieve the respective bonus. It is accepted if you do not want to achieve any bonus at all.
Consider the following example, where Susanne, Tim and Alexandra want to claim a bonus individually in the group:
"Susanne wants a bonus of 0.7 and does A, B, C", "Tim wants a bonus of 0.3 and does C, D", "Alexandra does not want a bonus."
Consider the following example, where a group or small group want to claim a bonus:
"Group Achiever wants a bonus of 0.7 and does E, F, G, H, I for it" or "A, B want bonus of 0.7 and do Feature Z together" or "A, B, C want a bonus of 0.3 and do A, B for it. D does not want a bonus".

In the following week (21-25.02.) we meet per group (only those who want a bonus) and discuss whether the requests you sent us via E-mail (PDF above) match the intended bonus grade, or if we expect a bigger or smaller contribution. Then you have time until the closing event to work on your tasks.

The results are then to be presented to everyone (whether bonus or not) at the closing event on 01.04.

Please select the dates you could attend as a group to discuss your bonus requests in the following doodle link until 18.02.. Please only one vote per group. First come first serve.

Dear students,

since there was some confusion about the submission format of the Sprint Planning and the next deadlines, here is some more information.
The sprint planning can be submitted in any form via email to the WWW-Team. Remember the slides from the last lecture (p. 50-51 "Working Item") so you know what the requirements for Sprint Planning are. The Sprint Planning covers 1 sprint (i.e. the week from 31.01. to 04.02.2022). You can, for example make a structured list with indentations. It is important that the Sprint Plan (the result of Sprint Planning) clearly shows which core user needs are addressed, who is responsible for what and how much time the tasks will take. Please submit your Sprint Plan via email by Wednesday 26.01.2022 15:00 at the latest. On Friday 28.01. from 10:00 to 11:00 (1h) we will give feedback and you can ask questions about your basic structure of the project.

Since you only have 3 weeks in total, you should build the structure of the ECS project based on the model in LeanScope this week (24.01.-28.01.) in parallel to the sprint planning. It is important that you build the basic structure of the project and compile it.

On 04.02. at 10:00 we will be available for questions. The content of this session will be a "show & tell" of your experiences and results of your sprint (planned in the sprint planning this week, see above). Then there is one week left until the final presentation on 11.02. for you to incorporate the feedback.

Here is a brief overview of the sprints:
24.01. - 28.01. Sprint 1: Core Implementation and structure, Sprint Planning Sprint 2
31.01. - 04.02. Sprint 2: Functionality
07.02. - 11.02. Sprint 3: Bug Fixing and Polishing

Here is a brief overview of the upcoming dates:
26.01. 15:00: Deadline Sprint Planning via email
28.01. 10:00 - 11:00: Feedback on Sprint Planning and answering questions on project structure
04.02. 10:00: "Show & tell" of the functionality of your developed project and feedback & questions
11.02. 10:00: Final presentation

If you have any questions please contact us.

Cheers,

Dear Students,

As this week is the last option for feedback and input before the break and the holidays. We would like to use the session this Friday (17th Dec) for a deep-dive and some more input regarding the topic of entity modelling. This will give you a good boost for your tasks up to the next session in January and will clarify what we expect regarding the entity modelling.

Moreover we would like to review your current ideas for your key user needs together, so that you get the chance to readjust in regard to this feedback before you enter the modelling and coding stage.

So we hope to see you all this Friday and keep up the good work,

Cheers,
WWW-Team

Dear students,

the reasoning period lasts until next Friday 26.11.2021. But we could give you more qualitative Feedback in the product owner appointment on Friday if you hand-in your reasoning until Wednesday 24.11.2021 18:00. Then we could review the persona, the scenario and could comprehend your findings better because we understand the reasoning behind.

Regarding the product owner appointment: In this meeting you will have the opportunity to present your results (persona, scenario, user needs) and ask questions. Furthermore presenting the results on Friday will also help you for the presentation on 03.11.2021.

If you have questions please send an email to: theres.scheucher@centigrade.de.

Thank you.

Your task will be to come up with a gamified solution to motivate specific user groups (based on their player type) to use a treadmill during office work. To this end, you will conduct several design steps before starting the implementation. As you usually have limited resources in practice (e.g., limited time, limited access to testing opportunities, limited access to participants), you will learn and use techniques that are also used in an industry context today. We will also have a mobile test setup in which the game can be tested.

This is a group project. At the beginning you will be randomly matched to three or four other students (originally only three), and you will be randomly assigned a player type for which you should develop the solution for.

We meet on Fridays, 10-12 and these weekly meetings are used to provide you with necessary information for being able to successfully generate the hand-ins. Besides of the hand-ins you also need to present what you did to the other students. Important: Until Christmas, you will have weekly tasks to do, please keep this in mind.

The meetings are done virtually via MS Teams here.
